In the autumn of 2020, the life of 31-year-old Acy Talley, a Black male from Memphis, Tennessee, was tragically cut short. On the evening of Wednesday, October 14, 2020, Talley was fatally wounded in a shooting that took place in the Parkway Village area of Memphis. First responders found him on the street, and despite being rushed to the hospital, he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
