In the early morning hours of August 28, 2017, the life of 30-year-old Isaac J. Queen, a Black male, was tragically cut short in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The scene of the violence was the Hampton Inn on Shallowford Road, where police responded to a call of shots fired at approximately 12:51 a.m. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Queen on the sidewalk, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite any efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
