In the Binghampton neighborhood of Memphis, Tennessee, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather's life was cut short in a tragic act of violence. Jimmy Walker, a 43-year-old Black male, was shot and killed just before midnight on December 9, 2017. The incident that led to his untimely death unfolded in the 3200 block of Allison Avenue, near the Chickasaw Country Club.
