Taren Lyles, a 22-year-old African American woman, was tragically shot and killed on June 17, 2018, in Clarksville, Tennessee. The incident occurred while she was in her car near Main Street and 11th Street. Her two young children, ages one and two, were in the backseat of the vehicle at the time of the shooting but were unharmed.
