In the early evening of November 2, 2015, a sense of unease settled over the 400 block of Georgetown Road in Clarksville, Tennessee. A call to the Clarksville Police Department at approximately 5:28 p.m. reported a shooting, shattering the day's calm. Arriving at the scene, officers made a grim discovery. Inside a residence, they found 21-year-old Angelica Rodriguez suffering from a single gunshot wound to her head.
Emergency medical services rushed the young Hispanic woman to Gateway
Medical Center, but her injury was too severe. Shortly after her arrival, Angelica Rodriguez was pronounced deceased. The news of her violent death sent ripples of shock and grief through her family and the Clarksville community. She was remembered as a former student of Rossview High School and an employee at GCA Services Group.
