Jaylynn Mae Hazel, a 9-month-old girl, tragically lost her life on September 14, 2017, in Clarksville, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Keara Wynn Hazel, aged 23, and her husband Jordan Hazel, aged 27. Along with Jaylynn, her mother Keara and her 3-year-old brother Kayden Jay Hazel were also killed on the same day. The Hazel family lived in Clarksville, and the memorial services for the three victims were held at Pleasant Hill Freewill Baptist Church in Dover, Tennessee.
