In the early morning of June 20, 2024, the life of 16-year-old Bra’Anna Harbison was tragically cut short in a domestic-related shooting in Clarksville, Tennessee. Just before 9:00 a.m., Clarksville Police received a 911 call reporting gunfire inside a residence on Timberline Way. Upon their arrival, officers entered the home and discovered two teenagers who had both sustained gunshot wounds.
Bra’Anna was pronounced deceased at the scene. The second individual, a 16-year-old male, was found critically injured and was airlifted to a hospital in Nashville, where he was listed in stable condition. Investigators with the Clarksville Police Department have identified the male juvenile as the primary aggressor in the incident. It is believed that he shot Bra'Anna before turning the gun on himself. Tragically, Bra'Anna Harbison was a new mother, leaving behind her infant daughter, Bray'Lonnie Paris Harbison.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, and authorities have described the motive as domestic in nature. The 16-year-old male suspect is facing a pending homicide charge for his alleged role in Bra’Anna's death. Due to his status as a juvenile, his name has not been publicly released by law enforcement officials.
