In the warm evening of May 30, 2010, a senseless act of violence tragically cut short the life of 18-year-old Tonia B. Parson in St. Louis, Missouri. An African-American female, Parson was seated in a car in the 5200 block of Palm Street when she was struck by multiple gunshots to her head and shoulders.
