TaNesha Hardy, a 36-year-old African American woman from Clarksville, TN, tragically lost her life on May 23, 2018. She was an innocent bystander caught in a drive-by shooting. Timothy Elijah Ogburn, a childhood friend of Hardy, carried out the shooting in an attempt to seek revenge for someone shooting up his mother's home. Ogburn fired 11 rounds from an AK-47 rifle at Hardy's vehicle, hitting her twice. Despite efforts to save her, Hardy succumbed to her injuries.
