In the late summer of 2018, the community of Covington, Tennessee, was shaken by a violent incident that resulted in the death of 18-year-old Christavian Toomes. On September 11th, deputies from the Tipton County Sheriff's Office responded to a call about a shooting in a field at the intersection of Leighs Chapel Road and Turner Field Road.
