Lawanda Steele-Williams, a 53-year-old African American woman, tragically died on December 16, 2018, in Antioch, Tennessee. She was a dedicated correctional officer with the Davidson County Sheriff's Office, having served for six years. Steele-Williams was married to Kirk Williams, 49, for about 18 months. The couple resided together in their home on Rocky Mountain Court.
