On March 23, 2023, in Antioch, Tennessee, 37-year-old Verleria Bridges was tragically killed in an apparent domestic-related murder-suicide. According to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, her husband, 42-year-old Antonio Bridges, returned home around 10 a.m., engaged in a heated argument with Verleria, and fatally shot her before taking his own life. Verleria's adult daughter was present in the home at the time and promptly called 911 to report the incident.
