In a tragic turn of events, 35-year-old Kianna Cayetano lost her life during a violent robbery inside her Antioch, Tennessee, apartment on October 27. The incident, which took place at the Hickory Lake complex on Apache Trail, also left her boyfriend, Jarred Kleinert, injured with a laceration to his throat. According to investigators, two acquaintances of the victims, Jon Anthony Hamilton and Kyronyez Dobbins, came to the apartment with the intent to rob them.
The investigation led by Homicide Unit Detective Joseph Gawlowski resulted in the apprehension of both suspects. Jon Anthony Hamilton, 27, was the first to be taken into custody. He was arrested by TITANS detectives at the same apartment complex where the crime occurred. Hamilton faces charges of criminal homicide and aggravated assault. His criminal history includes a 2018 robbery conviction for which he received a probated sentence.
A second suspect, 25-year-old Kyronyez Dobbins, was arrested shortly after Hamilton. Specialized Investigations Division TITANS detectives apprehended Dobbins, who was carrying a firearm at the time of his arrest, at the same apartment complex. Dobbins also has a criminal record, having been convicted of facilitating aggravated robbery in 2022, for which he received a probated sentence. Both he and Hamilton are now charged with criminal homicide in connection with Cayetano's death. The case was a collaborative effort between the Metro Nashville Police Department, the Nashville Fire Marshal's Office, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
