In a tragic turn of events, Cheron Sanders, a 47-year-old female, was found deceased in her Antioch, Tennessee, apartment on the evening of Friday, January 10, 2025. Her life was cut short in what Metro Nashville Homicide detectives are investigating as a murder-suicide. The discovery was made by Sanders' son shortly before 6 p.m. at their residence on Baby Ruth Lane.
Authorities believe that Sanders was fatally shot by her 53-year-old boyfriend, Eric Lebron Hale, who then took his own life. The incident was not the first instance of violence reported at the couple's home. In March of the previous year, Hale had been arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault. This earlier incident involved Sanders reporting to the police that Hale had pulled her hair and held a knife to her neck. However, that charge was ultimately dismissed in July of the same year.
