On May 11, 2019, 16-year-old Mina Fawzy, a male of Egyptian ethnicity, tragically died in Antioch, Tennessee, after being accidentally shot by a 15-year-old. The incident occurred at Fawzy's home on Swan Ridge Drive. According to Metro Police officials, the 15-year-old suspect and another 15-year-old witness claimed they were playing with a stolen gun when it discharged, hitting Fawzy near his neck and head.
