On the evening of Sunday, June 28, 2020, Antonio Merritt, a 37-year-old male, was fatally shot at the RiverChase apartment complex on Joseph Avenue in Nashville, Tennessee. The shooting occurred just before 6 p.m. outside of the F building of the complex. Patrol officers responded to a call of a person shot and found Merritt inside an apartment. He was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
