Ronald Mendeola, a 28-year-old male, was last seen on February 1, 1979, in Kailua, Hawaii. Initially, Mendeola’s case was classified as a missing person, but in 2003, new information surfaced suggesting he had been murdered. This led to the opening of a second-degree murder investigation, although no arrests have been made, and his body has never been recovered.
