In the summer of 2020, the life of Dequan Kentrand 'QueePee' Scott, a 27-year-old Black male from Chattanooga, Tennessee, was tragically cut short. On the night of June 30, 2020, gunshots rang out in the 4400 block of Kemp Drive. Scott was struck by a bullet, sustaining a life-threatening injury. He was transported in a private vehicle to a local hospital, arriving in critical condition. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries on July 1, 2020.
