In the summer of 2020, the life of Mack C Bond, a 58-year-old male and a veteran firefighter of over two decades with the Memphis Fire Department, was brought to a tragic and abrupt end. On July 15, while off-duty at Kennedy Park in Memphis, Tennessee, Bond was fatally shot. His body was discovered in the driver's seat of his SUV, which had crashed into a wooded area across from the park. Investigators believe he was attempting to flee his assailant when he was shot.
