David Gooch, a 60-year-old man from Nashville, TN, was tragically killed on July 26, 2020. He was an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire of a shootout near the JC Napier public housing development. When police arrived at the scene, they found Gooch with a gunshot wound to his face and he was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. The incident involved gunfire between at least three people, but no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
