In the summer of 2020, a Nashville man's life was tragically cut short when he found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. David Gooch, a 60-year-old male, was fatally shot on the evening of Sunday, July 26, 2020. The incident occurred around 9:15 p.m. in the 500 block of Charles E. Davis Boulevard, within the J.C. Napier public housing development.
