In the late afternoon of September 2, 2020, tragic events unfolded on Wilson Street in Chattanooga, Tennessee, forever altering the lives of one family. Tramell Harris, a 27-year-old Black man, was caught in a burst of gunfire that left him and another young man, aged 19, with serious injuries. Emergency services rushed both victims to a nearby hospital. While the 19-year-old survived his non-life-threatening wounds, Harris was not as fortunate and ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
