On April 23, 2023, 59-year-old Rickey Levon Johnson was fatally shot in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The incident occurred on Peeples Street, where another individual, Jeffrey Smith, was also injured. Chattanooga Police responded to the scene and initiated an investigation into the shooting.
