Herman Wright, a 59-year-old man from Memphis, Tennessee, tragically lost his life on September 21, 2020. Wright was found dead on his front porch in the early hours of the morning after being shot multiple times during a drive-by shooting. The incident occurred in the 1700 block of Preston Street in South Memphis. Wright's daughter, Shontelle Chavez, received a frantic phone call informing her of her father's death.
