On the evening of March 23, 2023, 58-year-old Cleo Peeples, a male resident of Memphis, Tennessee, was fatally shot just steps from his home. The incident occurred shortly before 10:00 p.m. at the corner of Shelby Drive and Chevron in the Whitehaven neighborhood.
