Tamara Sawyer, a 23-year-old aspiring nurse from Houston, Texas, was tragically killed on October 9, 2022, in what authorities have described as a murder-suicide. Sawyer, who was originally from Ohio and studying nursing at Houston Community College, was fatally shot inside her home by her 22-year-old ex-boyfriend.
