Adriana Perez, a 41-year-old woman of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically lost her life on October 2, 2018, in Houston, Texas. She was killed by her husband, Jordy Husein Suljanovic, a 46-year-old Bosnian refugee and long-haul truck driver. Suljanovic discovered his wife and her boyfriend, Omar Santamaria-Ruiz, 33, in their home through a hidden camera he had installed. Enraged by what he saw, Suljanovic returned home and shot both Adriana and her boyfriend in the master bedroom closet.
