Marlin Jordan, a 26-year-old, tragically lost his life on June 23, 2019, in Houston, Texas. Marlin was shot and killed while protecting his girlfriend, Maya Brashier, during a robbery. The incident occurred around 5 a.m. when the couple returned home from work and parked their car at their apartment complex on Hillmont Street.
