On a spring evening in Memphis, Tennessee, the life of 15-year-old Jarvis Triplett, an African American male, was tragically cut short. On April 17, 2021, Jarvis was enjoying a ride on his ATV near the intersection of Mississippi Boulevard and South Parkway. It was then that a white sedan reportedly drove by, and one or more occupants opened fire, striking the teenager multiple times.
