In the winter of 2025, a tragedy unfolded in South Memphis that cut short the life of 17-year-old Adrien Prewitt. On the evening of February 2nd, police responded to a call on LaPaloma Street, where they found the young Black male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene. What initially appeared to be a straightforward shooting soon revealed a more complex and calculated plot.
