In April of 2021, the life of 32-year-old Patrick Jamal Washington was tragically cut short in what would be described as an execution-style murder. The harrowing events began to unfold on a Sunday morning in a parking lot on Dickerson Pike in Madison, Tennessee. It was there that Jatecia Lake, a 32-year-old acquaintance of Washington, shot him in the back of the head at point-blank range while he was inside his Jeep Commander.
