Eric Bolden, a 46-year-old male of African American ethnicity from Knoxville, TN, tragically died on May 3, 2021. Bolden was involved in a fatal shooting incident in the 400 block of South Hembree Street in East Knoxville. According to the Knoxville Police Department , Bolden had an outstanding warrant for second-degree murder in connection with the October 28, 2020, shooting death of Lemuel Appling. The incident occurred after an argument escalated, leading Bolden to shoot Appling.
