In the late afternoon of May 16, 2021, a tragedy unfolded on the streets of Clarksville, Tennessee, that cut short the life of 20-year-old Khalil Izaiah Robinson. A Black male, Robinson was found lying in the road at the intersection of Peachers Mill Road and Henry Place Boulevard with multiple gunshot wounds. The call came in to the Clarksville Police Department at approximately 5:41 p.m. Despite the efforts of first responders, Robinson was pronounced dead shortly after their arrival.
