On September 13, 2021, 14-year-old Israel Diego Pascual was tragically killed in a shooting in Shelbyville, Tennessee. The incident occurred in the parking lot of Duck River Laundry around 9 p.m. Pascual, a freshman at Shelbyville Central High School, was with his 22-year-old brother at the time. According to police, six shots were fired into the vehicle they were in, resulting in Pascual's death.
