On a cold November day in 1997, the life of six-year-old Eric Holton was tragically cut short in Shelbyville, Tennessee. Eric, along with his older brothers, Stephen, 12, and Brent, 10, and their four-year-old half-sister, Kayla, were murdered by their own father, Daryl Keith Holton, a 36-year-old Gulf War veteran. The devastating event unfolded on November 30, 1997, under the guise of a Christmas shopping trip.
