Corey Wayne Grubbs, a 36-year-old man, was fatally shot on the afternoon of March 8, 2021, in the parking lot of an apartment complex on Union Street in Shelbyville, Tennessee. A graduate of Franklin High School, he was the manager of the local Domino's Pizza, a position he had held since 2009. His death was the result of a murder-suicide perpetrated by 47-year-old John Jaykus.
