Charles Armstrong Henry, a 36-year-old male of Caucasian ethnicity, was a dedicated officer with the Shelbyville Police Department in Tennessee. On October 31, 1911, Officer Henry and his colleague, Officer Redden Purdy, were tragically shot and killed by a suspect they had arrested earlier that day for drunk and disorderly conduct.
