Shannan Jackson, a 37-year-old resident of Brooklyn, New York, tragically lost his life on July 6, 2022, in a violent incident that shocked the community. Jackson was in the front passenger seat of a Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by a woman, when the vehicle stopped at a red light on Classon Avenue in Crown Heights. Suddenly, a bicyclist approached the vehicle, reached through the open passenger-side window, and punched Jackson. Both Jackson and the driver exited the vehicle and attempted to flee.
