Phillexus Buchanan, a 15-year-old girl of African American ethnicity, tragically lost her life on December 3, 2021, in Memphis, Tennessee. She was a 10th grader at Hamilton High School and was known for her enthusiasm for cheerleading. Phillexus was at a gas station on Elvis Presley Boulevard with friends when a dark-colored Nissan pulled up beside their car and opened fire.
