Death by Force

On January 31, 2022, Deputy April Duncan, a 34-year-old female deputy with the Scott County Sheriff's Office in Oneida, Tennessee, was found dead in her home on the 600 block of Locust Lane. Initially, her death was investigated as a possible suicide, but a thorough investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation later revealed that she was murdered.
