Teonka Jeanette Gunn, a 27-year-old woman from Memphis, Tennessee, tragically lost her life on March 1, 2022. She was a victim of domestic violence, having been shot multiple times outside her apartment at the Saint Court Apartments on North Watkins. Gunn was pronounced dead at the scene. According to her family, she had just been dropped off by her cousin when Travis Cohens, her ex-boyfriend, opened fire on the vehicle and then chased Gunn, shooting her again.
