In the chill of a November evening in Memphis, Tennessee, just days before Thanksgiving in 2018, the life of 50-year-old Belinda Humphreys was tragically cut short. A beloved grandmother and truck driver, she was known as a bright spot in her Nutbush neighborhood. On November 19, 2018, in what authorities have described as an attempted carjacking, Belinda Humphreys was shot and killed.
