On a tragic Wednesday night in Memphis, Tennessee, 66-year-old Beverly Jacks was senselessly murdered while her 9-year-old grandson sat in the backseat of her car. The fatal shooting occurred in the 1300 block of Wabash in South Memphis on October 24, 2018. Responding officers discovered Jacks inside her vehicle with gunshot wounds to her head and torso. Miraculously, her young grandson was physically unharmed.
