On March 20, 2022, 25-year-old LeKe Jenkins was tragically shot and killed in an apartment on Frith Drive in East Nashville. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m., and Jenkins succumbed to his injuries at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. According to reports, Jenkins was helping his girlfriend move when an altercation took place, leading to the shooting. He was shot in the chest twice and once in the ribs.
