In a tragic incident on a Monday morning in Nashville, Tennessee, a 26-year-old Hispanic man named Eric Macias lost his life. On December 10, 2018, what began as an ordinary day ended in unexpected sorrow.

Inside a home in the Antioch area, Eric was with his younger brother, who was 21 at the time. The younger sibling was handling a semi-automatic pistol when the weapon discharged. A single bullet struck Eric in the chest. He was later pronounced dead.
