Mahmoud Z. Al-Bunni, 62, male, died of gunshot wounds inside a Bellevue apartment in West Nashville on Tuesday, October 14, 2025. Police identified him after responding to a 7:30 a.m. emergency call to the 6900 block of Highway 70 South, where he lived with his girlfriend and another roommate. The caller told officers he arrived to find Al-Bunni unresponsive on the bedroom floor and the girlfriend standing in the doorway of the room the couple shared.
