Jamal Montez Crawford, a 23-year-old African American man from Nashville, Tennessee, tragically lost his life on November 25, 2019. He was fatally shot in the 700 block of Alloway Street in the Edgehill neighborhood during what appeared to be a drug deal gone wrong. Crawford was found shot in the chest and was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
