In the early hours of a Saturday morning in Nashville, Tennessee, a heated argument at a local bar escalated into a fatal burst of violence that claimed the life of Christopher Dewaun Johnson, a 45-year-old man known to his loved ones as 'C-Loc'. The shooting, which occurred on August 27, 2022, unfolded at Lucky's Bar & Grill located on Stewarts Ferry Pike in the Donelson area.
According to witnesses, Johnson was involved in a fiery verbal dispute with another man inside the
establishment. The confrontation quickly turned deadly as both men reportedly drew firearms and exchanged gunfire. In the chaotic moments that followed, Johnson was critically wounded. Two other individuals, a 43-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman, were also struck by the gunfire. All three victims were rushed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment. In the immediate aftermath of the shooting, the second gunman fled the scene before law enforcement arrived. Dotson admitted to his involvement in the exchange of gunfire but claimed that he acted in self-defense. He alleged that Johnson had pulled a gun and fired at him first, prompting him to return fire. Dotson was not injured during the incident.
