In the early morning hours of Saturday, October 29, 2022, tragedy struck in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, forever altering the lives of a local family. Micah Robinson, a 22-year-old male, was walking along John R. Rice Boulevard when the night's quiet was shattered by gunfire. At approximately 3:10 a.m., the Murfreesboro Police Department received a 'shots fired' call and responded to the area near an auto glass store adjacent to Sam's Club.
Upon arrival, officers discovered Robinson in a parking lot, suffering from multiple serious gunshot wounds.
Emergency personnel, including the Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department and Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services, quickly took over medical care from the initial responding officers. Robinson was rushed to the emergency room at Ascension St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was subsequently airlifted to Vanderbilt Medical Center.
