On an early Friday morning in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, the life of 30-year-old Terrell Edward Ray was tragically cut short. Just after celebrating his birthday, on August 2, 2019, Ray was shot multiple times in the back outside the Villager Condominiums on Middle Tennessee Boulevard. The attack appeared to be random, as detectives found no evidence that Ray was involved in any criminal activity. He was standing outside his girlfriend's apartment when the fatal shots were fired.
