Oscar Lee Eiland Jr., a 22-year-old man, tragically lost his life on September 10, 2019, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He was fatally shot at the Campus Villa Apartments, located near Middle Tennessee State University. Authorities arrived at the scene shortly before 1:30 p.m. and found Eiland suffering from a gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
